Argentina vs Saudi Arabia FIFA World Cup 2022 Highlights
Tuesday’s shocking Group C encounter between Saudi Arabia and Argentina was one of the biggest surprises in World Cup history, as Saudi Arabia won 2-1.
The South American squad was favored by many to win the tournament because of its high ranking (third in the world), long unbeaten streak (three years), and lack of losses (zero). However, they were defeated by a team that was ranked 48 places lower than them.

Both The Teams Got Stunned
Awestruck and exhausted, members from both teams fell to their knees. As he left the field with Saudi supporters cynically shouting his name, Messi, whom so many people had come to see the play, appeared upset.
Sports data company Gracenote (owned by Nielsen) claims that what happened on Tuesday was the biggest upset in the tournament’s whole history.
It was a historic victory for Saudi Arabia, but an embarrassing loss for Argentina, which gave up on the grandest platform.
While the Argentine team went out of the stadium with their heads bowed, the Saudi players were all smiles and laughter as they met with reporters. One of the few was Messi, who spoke with reporters and even paused for pictures.
